Dr. Plummer is a strong believer in all areas of health: mental, spiritual, emotional and physical and approaches medicine from this standpoint. As a healthcare provider Dr. Plummer is a strong advocate of collaborative and integrative care and aims to deliver the highest quality naturopathic medical care to all her patients. Her goal is to treat the root cause and help patients move to long term health through both treatment and prevention.

With a Theological Seminary Masters Degree (M.A. Religion) Dr. Plummer strongly believes in the spiritual and emotional elements of health and is open to a similar holistic approach with any health condition. After completing a Masters Degree and beginning a PhD with a focus on holistic health Dr. Plummer changed focus to studying sciences and was accepted at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine where she went on to complete a four year intensive naturopathic medical degree. Dr. Plummer is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario and is also a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She has a special focus on weight loss but treats all conditions as a general practitioner.

Having struggled with weight and the up and down cycle of weight loss and gain for several years, Dr. Plummer brings her own personal experience in this arena to her practice and works through individualized and customized care with each patient. As a personal trainer and holistic counsellor Dr. Plummer approaches weight loss from all angles knowing it can be very complicated. Believing that often weight loss can be a factor in treatment as well as prevention for many conditions such as hypertension, Type 2 Diabetes, cardiovascular disease, depression, she is passionate about helping her patients achieve their weight loss goals and step into optimal health. This is Dr. Plummer’s desire for all of her patients to live in optimal health.
